Blog Tour and Giveaway- Keeper of the Bees @megkassel @entangledteen

Keeper of the Bees by Meg Kassel Genre: YA Paranormal Release Date: September 4th 2018 Entangled Teen Summary: “ Beauty and the beast like you’ve never imagined! ” — New York Times bestselling author Pintip Dunn KEEPER OF THE BEES is a tale of two teens who are both beautiful and beastly, and whose pasts are entangled in surprising and heartbreaking ways. Dresden is cursed. His chest houses a hive of bees that he can’t stop from stinging people with psychosis-inducing venom. His face is a shifting montage of all the people who have died because of those stings. And he has been this way for centuries—since he was eighteen and magic flowed through his homeland, corrupting its people. He follows harbingers of death, so at least his curse only affects those about to die anyway. But when he arrives in a Midwest town marked for death, he encounters Essie, a seventeen-year-old girl who suffers from debilitating delusions and hallucinations. His bees want to sting her on sight. But Essie does...

Three Year Blogoversary! Wow.

Explanation for that gif of Misha Collins dancing like a maniac: That is essentially me when I reaslised I've been reading and writing about books for three years now. It does not seem like that long.

First, some stats. Since starting Death Books and Tea, I have....

  • Posted 711 (712 with this) posts
  • Had 1761 comments made, which I find amazing considering my comment sprees happen once in a blue moon

  • Gained lots of followers. I'm not going to try and count them, because some people follow me in different ways. But I'm amazed that so many of you stick around for my ramblings. Thank you.

I'm sorry, but I can't host a giveaway at the moment. Spent too much money on books (and other things like birthday presents and postage and club fees...but mostly books).  Instead, I'm going to do shoutouts of awesomeness. All these people are people I've either met in real life or have just talked to on the interwebs, and have a lot of love for.

Secrets of a Reluctant Princess

Welcome to the Cover Reveal for Secrets of a Reluctant Princess by Casey Griffin presented by Entangled Teen! Be on the lookout for this upcoming title, and be sure to enter the giveaway at the end of the post! Life-Action Role Playing gamers, this one's for you! Author, Casey Griffin's thoughts on the cover: Talk about punch! The colors immediately grab my eye and the font is so fun and unruly. I feel like the combination of those two things makes the cover of Secrets of a Reluctant Princess striking. With the simple yet powerful design, I think it will scream out from the bookshelf "pick me!" Or maybe that's just because I love pink. And glitter? What's not to love? I'm so happy with the results. At Beverly Hills High, you have to be ruthless to survive… Adrianna Bottom always wanted to be liked. But this wasn’t exactly what she had in mind. Now, she’s in the spotlight…and out of her geeky comfort zone. She’ll do whatever it takes to turn the rumor mill...

Hello Readers! Welcome to the Release Week Blitz for Why I Loathe Sterling Lane by Ingrid Paulson! If you haven’t checked out this series yet, what are you waiting for? Grab your copy today! Congratulations Ingrid! Per her 537 rules, Harper Campbell keeps her life tidy—academically and socially. But the moment Sterling Lane transfers into her tiny boarding school, her twin brother gets swept up in Sterling’s pranks and schemes and nearly gets expelled. Harper knows it’s Sterling’s fault, and to protect her brother, she vows to take him down. As she exposes his endless school violations, he keeps striking back, framing her for his own infractions. Worst of all, he’s charmed the administration into thinking he’s harmless, and only Harper sees him for the troublemaker he absolutely is. As she breaks rule after precious rule in her battle of wits against Sterling and tension between them hits a boiling point, she’s horrified to discover that perhaps the two of them aren’t so different. An...

Waiting on Wednesday- Night Terrors by Tim Waggoner

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by  Breaking the Spine  where we show off books that we want to read but have not been published yet.  It has been AGES since I've done one of these! I want to get back in the habit, and generally keep up with upcoming releases, so here's the first one in... ages! Title:   Night Terrors Author:   Tim Waggoner Release Date: 29 April 2014 Link to / Summary from Goodreads:  It's Men In Black meets The Sandman. Meet the fine men and women of the NightWatch: a supernatural agency dedicated to hunting down rogue nightmares that escape from other realms when people dream about them, while ensuring that other dream-folk are allowed to live among the regular, human population… as long as they play by the rules. Why I want it:  Tim Waggoner's Nekropolis series is what got me in to horror/fantasy/spec-fic/weird stuff. I have waited FOREVER for new stuff  from him. The fact that this is going to exist...
